Mothers’ Union thrives at Chelmsford Cathedral. It is a place where people come together, to share friendship and listen to talks from local people and interest groups.
The Mothers' Union, along with all other groups, is unable to meet at the moment. As soon as it resumes, we will update this page.
There are two sections, one which meets in the afternoon on the second Thursday of each month in the Chapter House adjacent to the Cathedral. The evening section meets in the same place but on the first Thursday of each month at 8pm.
There is a program of widely ranging talks and activities and anyone can choose to attend either section or both. Despite the Mothers’ Union name, men are also welcome to attend and become members. The main aim is to promote all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life.
For more information, please contact Lindsay Rae via email who will be able to put you in touch with the group leaders.
